onetee
Hi there, What is the ideal time to start micro-needling a transplanted area after a hair transplant? I got a hair transplant just a little over 3 months ago. It was a small hairline touch-up. Dense packing with 1500 grafts. The only guidance I've seen from an actual transplant surgeon is from Dr. Gary Linkov. See link below. Basically, here he says wait at least 3 months and that you don't want to start micro-needling before the new hair cycle begins. Have any of you come across any other advice or online resources that can speak to this? Thank you!
Moderators Al - Moderator Posted 1 hour ago Moderators Share Posted 1 hour ago I’ve said in the past that personally I would wait at least 6 months to be sure all the transplanted hair has started growing first.
