How long after a hair transplant should I wait to micro-needle a transplanted area?

Hi there,

What is the ideal time to start micro-needling a transplanted area after a hair transplant? I got a hair transplant just a little over 3 months ago. It was a small hairline touch-up. Dense packing with 1500 grafts. 

The only guidance I've seen from an actual transplant surgeon is from Dr. Gary Linkov. See link below. Basically, here he says wait at least 3 months and that you don't want to start micro-needling before the new hair cycle begins. 

Have any of you come across any other advice or online resources that can speak to this?

I’ve said in the past that personally I would wait at least 6 months to be sure all the transplanted hair has started growing first.

I was told just one month post surgery. Dr Reddy, London. This is what I followed, has seemed fine.
