FUE hair transplantation to Class 7 young man, Dr.Kulakarn Amonpattana , BHI Clinic Thailand

34 Y/O Asian Male with advance androgenetic alopecia. He had try medical treatments ; Oral finasteride and topical minoxidil for many years. He was tired of medical treatment and expect for the baby, therefore, he stopped the medication a few years ago. The hair loss was progressively fast.

Then he consulted to have a hair transplantation procedure.

We have discussed about the possible result and long term maintenance.

He agreed to take the medicine again alongside with surgery. [ Oral Finasteride 1 mg/day and Minoxidil 2.5 mg/Day]

We did FUE hair transplantation to create the new hairline and fill up to the top part. The crown area was not covered yet due to limitation of the graft number.

The result was shown at 4 months and 12  months.

He discontinue the oral medication at 6 months after surgery and switch to topical Minoxidil 5%+ Finasteride 0.25%

He is planning to have further surgery to fill the crown area next visit. 

The graft number breaks down into:

1 hair  309 FUGs

2 hair 1,506 FUGs

3 hair 1,251 FUGs

Total = 3,066 FUGs
