Scalp skin shedding condition, particularily as a reaction to Minoxidil

Hi guys,

after applying topical minoxidil my scalp skin shed in bits as large as a coin, I attach a picture.

Does anyone know what this is exactly and can tell the name of the condition? What would it ideally be treated with? I was diagnosed with folliculitis a long time ago, is this possibly related?
