Regular Member macavelli Posted 18 hours ago Regular Member Share Posted 18 hours ago I had a consult with Dr Rosenelli in San Francisco. He proposed 1200 grafts and these pics would be my new hairline. Anyone know this guy? Some of my friends have gone to turkey to save money so they is another option. Senior Member Matthias Posted 16 hours ago Senior Member Share Posted 16 hours ago From your pictures that do not give a full picture (need all sides plus wet hair) it almost seems pointless to do a transplant. Do you have any balding spots behind or are you just unsatisfied with a minimal recession on your current hairline? I'd suggest checking out european or south american options. Regular Member macavelli Posted 13 hours ago Author Regular Member Share Posted 13 hours ago Thanks for the feedback. I’m unhappy with my hairline and feel like it gives me low self esteem and confidence. Tried taking a selfie with wet hair. Really appreciate the feedback. Senior Member Matthias Posted 8 hours ago Senior Member Share Posted 8 hours ago (edited) I don't think you’re balding, so this would be a one-time investment. If I were you I'd look around for surgeons in Europe but there are also a couple of good ones in Türkiye (e. g. Özlem Bicer). Valued Contributor Gatsby Posted 2 hours ago Valued Contributor Share Posted 2 hours ago @macavelli I know this is something that you don't want to hear and I don't know your age. But your hair looks natural and to look at it I don't think of a guy going bald. Once you are cut you are cut. I'm not a doctor but I would give finasteride a good twelve months to see how your hair responds to it. I would recommend this to anyone whether they are having surgery or not. 15 hours ago, macavelli said: Some of my friends have gone to turkey to save money so they is another option. While you are waiting I strongly recommend that you do plenty of research and look at results of surgeons by patients on the forum. Choosing surgery by geography and cost is a one way ticket to regret and disaster and ending up having to pay more than a great surgeon in the long run. All the best!
