Senior Member Big Rome Posted October 10 Senior Member Share Posted October 10 After 4 months on topical Fin I developed insomnia, barely an hour a night sleep. I stopped the Fin & after 9/10 days the insomnia disappeared… I left it 3 weeks and started the topical again, after 3 applications over 6 days the insomnia is back again! Has anybody else experienced Insomnia as a side & if so, is there a way around it? Like using it in the morning instead of the night ect.. if I can’t use the topical Fin I’m out of ideas for a anti androgen 😔
Senior Member mr_peanutbutter Posted October 10 Senior Member Share Posted October 10 ya, its a common side effect try 1ml 0.025% in the morning if that doesnt work, try topical dut, ironically it has often less sideeffects
Valued Contributor Gatsby Posted October 10 Valued Contributor Share Posted October 10 Before ditching the drug @Big Rome take it when you wake up in the morning and see how you go. Valued Contributor Gatsby Posted yesterday at 12:08 AM Valued Contributor Share Posted yesterday at 12:08 AM Sorry to hear this @Big Rome but it's just not worth taking if you are getting constant insomnia. Everything health related both physically and mentally is based on good sleep. I've always found when quitting finasteride that by two weeks side effects disappear also. 1 GATSBY 'UNPLUGGED!' 15,671 (3 surgeries) Grafts FUE+BHT Dr. Sethi Eugenix

Regular Member 4chanhrn Posted 2 hours ago Regular Member Share Posted 2 hours ago I would try topical dutasteride. Start at something like 0.05% or 0.1% 1x/week.
