Senior Member Jotronic Posted October 7, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted October 7, 2009 This local patient felt that his existing hairline aged him prematurely. In early 2009 Dr. Hasson used 3009 grafts to rebuild a strong hairline but with proper temple recession to insure his results were appropriate for his age. 7 Months and 3 weeks later the patient returned to show us the result that you see below. Senior Member M&M Posted October 7, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted October 7, 2009 Jotronic, Great transformation for this patient, including a very prudent use of grafts for solid but smart coverage. He does look much younger now and I like the dry 'messy' look he has going. By the way, great, great pictures, manny angles and very clear. Your clinic does such a great job in providing clear and well lit pictures. Senior Member splitting hairs Posted October 8, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted October 8, 2009 Very nice work as always!!! Is this guy on Propecia to prevent further loss?? Jotronic, just out of interest, Have you had any patients come back to you for further work due to their hairloss progressing despite being on propecia?? Thanks. _________________________________________________ Propecia since July 2008 2201 Grafts with Dr Lorenzo on 19.10.22 - See my write up here:
Senior Member Jotronic Posted October 13, 2009 Author Senior Member Share Posted October 13, 2009 M1A1, "Can you share with us what is the width and length of his strip.? Sure, it was 30x1.2 cm. "By the way, great, great pictures, manny angles and very clear. Your clinic does such a great job in providing clear and well lit pictures." Thank you. Splitting hairs, "Is this guy on Propecia to prevent further loss??" Yes. "Jotronic, just out of interest, Have you had any patients come back to you for further work due to their hairloss progressing despite being on propecia??" While the answer is yes it is a very rare occurrence. In fact, it may even be as low as two or three since we started prescribing Finasteride at least ten years ago. John Malloy
Jotronic, Wow, I hate that guy, I wish I had half the growth he had at 7 months. That is what I thought I would look like at this point. I have a similiar balding pattern. Believe it or not this guy may have been a little worse than I, but he blows me out of the water now. John Malloy
Jotronic, Excellent results. Was this guy just lucky? or when you guys state that you guarantee growth, results like this are typical? I'm thinking of another procedure in about 6 months or so, Ill be 13 months post op at that point, if I don't see a drastic improvement. Does an area worked on twice negate any guarantee? Good question John, I was wondering that myself. John, who was your doctor ?
Senior Member thanatopsis_awry Posted October 15, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted October 15, 2009 This is a very nice result particularly at such an early juncture, but I would hardly call this result "atypical" or "lucky". John, how many grafts did you get? Hang tight, man, I hope you get the growth you expect in the next couple of months; post some pics when you get a chance, or have Dr. Feller, perhaps, post your case. ----------- *A Follicles Dying Wish To Clinics* 1 top-down, 1 portrait, 1 side-shot, 1 hairline....4 photos. Senior Member Acrobaz Posted October 15, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted October 15, 2009 For my part, I think this is an amazing result, particularly for only 7-8 months. It blows me out of the water too at this stage! But we each grow at different rates ... and I am very happy with where I have got so far. This result represents the place where, in my mind, I hope to end up. I'm sure he's very happy - he certainly looks it. 17 Feb 09 - 3,200 FUs by strip surgery (Dr Feller) My Hair Loss Website
Raphael84
Echoing similar sentiments to everybody else. Great early growth, and therefore the potential for even further maturation. Senior Member Jotronic Posted October 16, 2009 Author Senior Member Share Posted October 16, 2009 Where'd it go, What question are you referring to? Just curious. John Malloy, Our guarantee is simple. We guarantee the grafts we place will grow. Nothing more, nothing less. If they don't (and it is obvious) we'll perform a "do over" or refund your money. This patient is not lucky save for perhaps his hair type (strong wave/curly). This, as everyone pretty much understands, aids in the appearance of fullness. Senior Member M1A1 Posted October 18, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted October 18, 2009 Jotronic, Thanks for your response. If my math is correct, your patients donor density is about 80 to 90 fu's squared? Or am I out in left field? One other thing, I would like to sincerely thank you for the video you put together for the scalp exercises... Senior Member Jotronic Posted October 26, 2009 Author Senior Member Share Posted October 26, 2009 M1A1, You are not in left field, maybe just right of center The match works out to be 83.58 per cm2. Regarding the video, you are very welcome. In fact, I am putting another one together that will be more clear (HD) and will have more detail regarding the specifics of the exercises along with an option or two.
