The beginning of this week was a little exciting for one of the members of our staff. Christina, whom some of you know at Hasson & Wong as our office manager got an exciting call from her husband over the weekend while he was away at an amateur gold tournament. Read the story below...

Me too. The Bentley in the pics isn't the one they won. They won the convertible GT-Cicon_smile.gif Rich drove the Rolls to the office and we got to check it out. It's the Gray Phantom I believe. Damn nice car and it's built like a tank. The interior was immaculate and even came with a jar of Grey Poupon as a joke. Seriously!

Man...I'm somewhat an...."automobilophile"....I can imagine how luscious that gray phantom must have looked -- and a perfect compliment to the mint GT-C! Too cool....

Any chance of the good Christina and Husband making one of those bad boys the official car of H&W? icon_smile.gif

Speaking of condiments, Tuesday evening I spilled about a pint of juice they use for steaks and chicken at Longhorn's Steakhouse in the back seat of my '07 Nissan Frontier. Now, everytime I get in it I crave steak fries.

But anyway, nice ride. I'm a car buff as well, and I'm hoping to purchase a classic 240z ('70-'73 model) in the next year or so.

ta,

I'm trying to get them to make the Rolls the "pick-up" car for patients flying in. No luck yeticon_frown.gif

Dewayne,

You just went into my "favorite posters" bookicon_smile.gif I'd recommend a 72 240. My favorite is the white with red interior. When I was about 20 I narrowly missed an opportunity for a 71 auto with 29K original miles that was cherry. He wanted 5,000 for it!!! I got the money and called the guy about ten minutes too late.

If you need ANY tips or advice on the 240, let me know. I rebuilt from the ground up (engine/brakes/suspension/etc.) a 77 280 about ten years ago. Did everything myself and had a blast doing it. Only reason I sold it was to move to Seattle 'cause I needed the cash. The good thing is, you're in Georgia and the Georgia Z Car Club meets in Norcross once a month. It's the best Z car club there is. I used to be a member and went to all the functions I could when I lived in Peachtree City.

I also just bought a 90 240sx coupe that I just started to restore (with mods of course). So, yeah, I'm a car nuticon_smile.gif
